Family, friends, Church brethren, and fans joined Kuya Daniel Razon in a thanksgiving celebration as the Vice-Presiding Minister to Members Church of God International marks his 35th service anniversary to God and humanity.

“Salamat sa 35 taon na Kanyang pagpatnubay at pagtitiis,” Kuya Daniel expressed his thanks to God before thousands of congregants during today’s regular Thanksgiving event of MCGI.

(Thanks for the 35 years of God’s guidance and patience.)

He sang two of his original compositions with his family. Composing praise songs is one thing that Kuya Daniel devotedly strives to do every celebration of his Baptism Day.

“Within the 35 years of my service, I’ve composed 57 songs,” he recalled.

Online, fans of Kuya Daniel sent their greetings on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter with the hashtag #ThankGodForBroDaniel. His being a seasoned broadcast journalist and an innovator who always pushes unique concepts, among them is the renowned Wish 107.5, has gained Kuya Daniel admirers of all ages.

Brethren from different divisions – namely Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and Foreign, serenaded him with songs of appreciation. Greetings from various MCGI locales across the globe were played in video presentations.

While it is his special day and norm suggests that it’s the celebrant who should be receiving gifts, Kuya Daniel, on the other hand, granted simple wishes of our fellowmen.

MCGI set another special thanksgiving event on December 1, also primarily in celebration of Kuya Daniel’s service anniversary.
